I have found a comprehensive list of Fabric types that consists of the names only. I’m going to share that list (courtesy of Wikipedia).

As a writer, when creating your world you want to include as much detail as possible in order to draw your reader into the story. When describing clothing, for example, use the fabric type giving the reader something more to image.
